Warning! This post will be a super long and wordy post. I started off a great Saturday going to the clothes buffet flea @ Beer Market @ Clarke Quay. By the way, I really love fleas because I can really snapped up great and very very affordable clothes. Like for example, today I bought a daisy dress at the flea at $5 but I saw it at a blogshop store in Orchard and it was selling at $24.90! What a great deal I got at the flea right!!! However, one disappointing thing is that I realized it was torn a little along the waist line of the dress but since it was cheap I could make do with it, the most I just have it sew by myself hahaha.
I am thankful for today because great things happened today! The story goes like this..
My father fetches me to Clarke Quay earlier today thus I reached earlier than expected and my friend Rebecca she has yet to reach so I decided to walk around Central. Before that, my dad was complaining on how it would definitely be jam and luckily it did not. Phew! But that was because he took the longer route. However, I am glad he still fetches me there. Was walking and walking suddenly this lady approaches me and asked me to help her do a survey regarding fashion apps and so I did. After which, I left the scene and walk further ahead till I am outside of the shopping mall and was checking on my map app on how to get to beer market. Suddenly, the same lady came and approached me again because at first she don't recognize that she had taken survey with me earlier on, then both of us was burst out laughing hahaha! I proceeded to ask her for help on how to get to beer market and even though she herself didn't know exactly where was the place but she helped me with all means and I am really touched. After she left, I decided to throw my rubbish and suddenly another lady approaches me and requested for my help to help her to take a photo of her and so I did and she said this to me " Thank you and have a great day! " I know it's a small gesture but a thank you from a stranger I have helped really makes my day :)
With the help of our map app, we found our way to beer market's flea and I really bought lots of cheap loots and stuff everything in the ohsofickle's clothes buffet bag! Love my buys because they were so cheap! I hope I can purchase more stuffs from the flea but I have a budget so I didn't which I'm glad also! There were also selling branded bags like coach, tory burch etc etc which I think it was abit irrelevant, I mean like fleas were supposed to sell cheap things and not expensive things do you all agree? I am like woah.
After the flea, we headed to Orchard to eat and walk around. Everywhere there's sales but we were completely broke so we never bought anything afterwards. Went to scape's fleas and window-shopped follow by heading to orchard central to settle down for a break whereby me and Rebecca ordered egg tarts and gongcha. The funniest part at there was that we saw girls cat-walking for training or something and suddenly Rebecca told me that there was this old man who tried to do cat-walk as well with his butt shaking left and right! Omg that was really hilarious!! We saw this bridal shop with a mannequin wearing a high-low wedding dress and it was so pretty and me and Rebecca have the urge to get married just because we wanted to wear beautiful wedding dress hahaha!!
We then walked from OC to Dhoby Ghaut and went to Plaza Sing's Jrunway! The clothes there are Japanese labels but the prices are high also. Spotted one skirt legging which I wanted last time and I saw them but didn't managed to get it because it was so pricey plus I don't think I could fit in either :P We headed to settled down at The Cathay for dinner and had Makisan's Sushi and I love my customised sushi alot today!! Yumz Tumz Tumz!! We wanted to catch fireworks but it was too late by the time we reached marina bay so we dropped the idea.
From Dhoby, we walked to Bugis and along the way we passed by Raffles Hotel and we did our "shoots" there and every moment was fun and hilarious. I really love today. After that, we walked further down and we reached Bugis plus and we went in Sephora first and Rebecca found her favourite perfume and she can't stop raving about it and that was so funny because I asked her to put the perfume sample in her mouth so she could smell it inside and outside. We then bought gongcha again and this time we sat down and chit-chat alot of things which I am really happy and thankful for her being my best listening partner and best chit-chatting partner because we could talk about anything without feeling awkward and she's one of the friend which I could really confide with :) Thank God for her <3 What's really saddening today was I noticed lots of old people who talk to themselves, tearing and begging for money and also mental unsound old people I have came across. It was so sad to see them like this as nobody could understand the loneliness and pain they went through.. so this makes me cherished my parents even more because as I am growing old so are my parents. I am really thankful for them for which without them, I could never imagine where would I be.. So just want to say we must all cherished our parents.
That's all for my wordy post! ;) And have a great weekend! Thanks for reading!
xx
